MAGELLAN INN'S restaurant with former owner/chef and creator of "LA CASA CREOLE" serves dinner, in the evenings, on reservation. The classic "Specials" of the original well-known "CASA CREOLE" such as Shrimp Martiniquaise, Steak au Poivre, Coconut Shrimp Coctail & Profiterolles, will be found on the menu.
Within walking distance,two excellent restaurants. "Bananas" with its Caribbean flavours of coconut chicken,rice & beans, and the "Coconut Caribbean" Italian chef,by the beach with beautiful view of the sea.
NATIONAL PARK of CAHUITA, white beaches and crystalline blue waters. The coral reef is great for snorkeling, where one can see a multitude of unbelievable colours of fish and variety of different plant and marine life. The walk through the park, on its sandy trails, under the shade of giant coniferous trees and coconut trees, gives you the opportunity to see and observe the howler and white-face monkeys as well as slothes, iguanas, toucans, parrots, dart frogs etc...
